Sky Mavis, the corporate behind the favored play-to-earn (P2E) sport Axie Infinity, has introduced that, with the help of Norwegian authorities, it has recovered $5.7 million from the infamous Ronin Bridge incident of 2022.
On June 7, Sky Mavis introduced that Norway’s central unit for preventing financial and environmental crimes, referred to as “Økokrim,” froze and returned $5.7 million in funds from the Ronin Bridge hack.
Sky Mavis mentioned the efforts required coordination between legislation enforcement, legal professionals, accountants and blockchain forensic groups like Chainalysis.
The blockchain gaming agency publicly thanked the Norwegian authorities and america Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for monitoring the funds and recovering the property.
